I'm writing a separate entry here from the main updates to avoid cluttering the homepage. I want to address the future material I've been hinting at for nearly a year now. Back last fall, I made a few demos and had nearly an entire 45-minute album pretty much worked out. One issue was not being able to access a drum kit at this time, and then becoming busier with school and work and other projects to the point where Abjectress fell entirely on the back burner. This January I announced that I was reworking some of this material, scrapping most of it and changing plans for whatever form this release takes. I can now definitively say that Abjectress will record a 2- or 3-track EP, featuring material not yet released on any of the demos so far. I'm hoping not only to do tapes and CDs, but also contact a label interested in pressing this EP to 7" vinyl (if you run a label and are interested, contact me). I haven't decided on a title for it yet, but I hope to make an announcement once recording has begun. I can't guarantee a release until probably sometime late this Fall or Winter.
Lastly, I want to thank everyone for the support this project has received in the past, and especially now with the website being up and interacting more with other users on Neocities. I hope you all look forward to this new EP as much as I do.
